Cynthia Aikman
Cindy Aikman, of Fourche Valley in Yell County,  is retired from active duty Army service where she attained the rank of Major.  She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a law degree (J.D.).

Cindy has long been a community organizer in the Fourche Valley area.  She testified before a joint Arkansas House and Senate Education Committee in a successful fight to return the abandoned high school building to the community after the school was closed through forced consolidation.  She met with Senators and the Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas in her unsuccessful push for cell phone coverage in this rural agricultural area, raising awareness in the process.  She was an advocate and spokesman for saving rural post offices during the last national round of post office closures. Currently, Cindy is focusing her efforts on creating a model rural law practice, exportable to underserved rural communities across the state. Cindy is interested in family law
