Biography

Kenneth Hamilton, born November 12th, 1993, is married to Tara Hamilton, a therapist in the Little Rock area, and is the son of Zina Frazier, Directing Attorney at Center for Arkansas Legal Services. Kenneth graduated from Mills University Studies High School in 2012, received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville in 2016, and received his Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock in 2019.

He is an only child of a single mom. His father was criminally convicted and served a prison sentence in California for most of Kenneth’s early life, making his father a stranger to him until his late 20s. Growing up, he saw several of his friends get into criminal trouble as teenagers, and realized just how much one bad decision or circumstance could change someone’s life. These experiences inspired Kenneth to practice criminal defense – a middle ground between attorney work like his mother, and helping people like his father.

During law school, he volunteered his time with the Young Democrats student association, was the treasurer of the Black Law Students' Association, and served as Dean's Fellow. Between classes, Kenneth worked at the Tellez Law Firm, the Arkansas Municipal League, and the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission as a law clerk.

Since becoming a trial attorney, Kenneth has negotiated or tried more than 200 cases across Arkansas’ state and federal courts - mainly consisting of traffic accidents, DWIs, and criminal misdemeanors or felonies involving drugs or violence.

In his free time, Kenneth enjoys working out and combat sports, and has trained in Taekwondo, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Krav Maga throughout his life. He is currently a Brown Belt in Judo and plans to continue competing in tournaments. He is a lifelong video-gamer that has built his own gaming PC and enjoys running his bi-weekly game of Dungeons and Dragons, which he considers to be a great creative outlet.
