BIO OF ATTORNEY YAW ADUBOFFOUR
Attorney Yaw Aduboffour is a pleasant and remarkable courtroom advocate who has a great sense of ensuring justice is served fairly and equally to all who seek it regardless of race, sex, gender, national origin, religious beliefs, orientation, or financial status. Yaw has represented and continues to represent clients from all backgrounds without hesitation. He works for his clients with a deep sense of compassion but is very aggressive on the other side with the aim of bringing quick but long-lasting results to his clients.
Yaw is a product of the University of Houston Law Center, Houston, Texas and functions as an Attorney with an uncommon understanding of law. He is able to break down complex legal concepts into simple everyday language for his clients to understand. Through that process, he is able to free his clients from complex legal issues that would have otherwise entangled them. Yaw is thus able to bring relief to his clients when they need it most. Yaw commits to client satisfaction at all times. Since his admission to the State of Texas Bar in 2015, Yaw has represented clients in Immigration, Civil litigation, Family law and Personal Injury.
At Tellez Law Firm, Yaw focuses his practice solely on immigration law. Yaw handles immigration removal / deportation defense, bond hearings, family-based petitions, humanitarian protections like Asylum, U-visa, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Citizenship.
In addition to being licensed by the state of Texas, Yaw is also licensed to practice law in the following federal courts:
i. the 5thCircuit Court of Appeal of the United States
ii. the Western District of Arkansas
iii. the Eastern District of Arkansas
iv. the Northern District of Texas and
v. the Eastern District of Texas
Yaw has been a member of a number of local and international professional organizations including the State of Texas Bar, the Dallas Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, the American Bar Association (ABA), the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and the International Bar Association (IBA). Yaw is also a former member of the ARAG Legal Insurance Attorney Network.
On the African continent, Yaw was licensed to practice law in Ghana in 2009 and worked extensively in the courts of Ghana as a private legal practitioner before relocating to the United States. Yaw has also worked in French speaking Ivory Coast where he undertook an internship at Traore Bakari Consulting (TBC), (a Private Tax Consulting firm) in 2009.
Yaw is a family man; he is married to his lovely wife Christine, and they have 3 wonderful kids.
